A few structure blow outs - log toe with rock riffle 2016-2017 beaver dam removals - how long were they active, again concern about woody stem loss Multiple cattle slides left in/untreated (would have liked a brush toe)- more of an Ell approach Culvert- would have preferred squashed pipe, floodplain pipes, road dip for overbank flow Restoration segment - recent beaver de-veg and flooding impacts - doesn't look good for yr 5 (scour, low/no canopy) Abundant sweet gum volunteers across the site Some recent live stakes added Tributary connect over log vain - Travis said looks ok Bank fail across from southeast branch - regrade, fescue & juncus Ell transition - minor deer browse West Branch - adjacent landowner cleared land verified outside easement Working with Stewardship in land beyond easement - language regarding stewardship transfer of private land in front on AG West Branch Ell - back flow from main stem (beaver downstream), no veg (live stakes growth) along bank, not very stable/successful, bank movement back 1 + foot, also significant deposit - request live stakes? Southeast Branch - abundant trees on bank and in buffer; standing water areas in buffer, fence in good condition Culvert perched at crossing (SE Branch) - Wildlands to check as built EI - algae present, nutrient loading; wide pools, restricted riffles, exposed log vain Restoration segment (b/w SE & S Branch) - Evidence of long time empoundment - maintenance issue South Branch - may ly found, wetland area, bank well vegetated Byrd's Creek - stability assessment? How much of project has bare bank?
