This is a follow-up to the Compliance Inspection Report completed on 2/l/2019.
1. The Town of Bryson City was awarded a $95,000 Asset Inventory Assessment grant.
This grant will be used to conduct a comprehensive infiltration/inflow evaluation of our

areas where investment to repair and/or replace the sewer system will make the most
impact in reducing I/I.
2. The Town of Bryson City did not receive the $1 M CDBG grant to replace 2700' of clay
sewer line on Carringer Street. The Town will begin the planning process of replacing
this stretch of line in phases.
3. The Fats, Oil, and Grease (FOG) educational information has been placed on the Town's
website at www.br sy oncit tgov. Brochures have also been placed on the counter for
customers to pick up at their discretion. We will also place information on the March 29,
2019 bills. The front will say: "See back of bill for fats, oils, and grease information".
The back will have the town's website information.
4. The 24-hour emergency notification sign has been placed at the WWTP influent lift
