Gary,
Please find the response attached. We aren't sure exactly where the work within the wetland, for the utility crossing, is
going to take place, so I told the engineer to include the entire area. Highly unlikely the full 0.127 -acre will be disturbed.
Also, in case you needed the table in a format that you could work with:

Dana,
I'm working on the Leland Commercial NWP 29.
The proposed wetland impacts for this project have still got me scratching my head.
I've attached 2 pages to this e-mail. These include the proposed wetland narrative and the proposed wetland impact
chart. These are the 2 updated pages that you recently sent me.
I need an updated accurate number for:
-permanent Wetland impact amount
-Temporary wetland impact amount
-Stream impacts
-open water ditch impacts
This should also include the proposed water line that will cause "temporary" impacts to wetlands.
The temporary impacts will not have to be mitigated for.
I need this information so I can determine if the proposed mitigation will be acceptable to offset the wetland loss.
Thanks,
Gary

RE: Leland Commercial Response to USACE Request for Additional Information (RFAI)
Brunswick County, North Carolina (SAW -2005-1297)
Dear Gary,
Please accept this correspondence and accompanying attachments, as Southern Environmental Group, Inc.'s (SEGi)
response to your emailed request for additional information dated 11 March 2019, which has been outlined below
and followed by SEGi's response:
The proposed wetland impacts for this project have still got me scratching my head. I've attached 2 pages
to this e-mail. These include the proposed wetland narrative and the proposed wetland impact chart. These
are the 2 updated pages that you recently sent me. I need an updated accurate number for:

temporary impacts will not have to be mitigated for. I need this information so I can determine if the
proposed mitigation will be acceptable to offset the wetland loss.
In order to provide the information, you are requesting, Section D, of the PCN, needs to be revised. However, due
to the fact that PCN was submitted electronically, revising it is not practicable. Therefore, the following table is
intended to complete Section D and includes both tributaries and wetland proposed impacts :

Leland Commercial Resnonse to USACE RFAI
I have attached the site plans that illustrate the impacts listed within the above table (see Attachment 1). The
Applicant intends to mitigate for 0.268 -acre of wetlands, at a 2:1 mitigation to impact ratio. I have requested the
credit reservation letter, from the mitigation bank, and will forward upon receipt.
It is SEGi's hope that the information submitted within and attached to this letter is sufficient to satisfy the USACE's
RFAI. However, should you still have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly, at 910.228.1841.
As always, thank you for your time and assistance with this project. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Dana A. Lutheran
