This is a portion of the City's cross town trail system. The project will cause impacts to the tributary to Little Alamance by extending an emsting 42" RCP culvert by 24 linear feet within the stream, and adding 24 to cl B Rip Rap rock pad at the end of pipe. A drop inlet will also be installed (see plans). The project will also include the installation of a plunge pool to alleviate diffuse flow from a 24" RCP. Equipment to be used includes 4j. In addition, a plunge pool has been designed at the end of a culvert within the buffer area to alleviate diffuse flow. 1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: Throughout construction, the necessary sediment and erosion control measures will be implemented. All disturbed areas will be stabilized immediately after construction is completed. 2. Compensatory Mitigation for Impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the State 2a.
