Mckim and Creed conducted multibeam and side scan sonar surveys on
02.19.19 using a R2 Sonic 2022 multibeam echosounder and an Edgetech 4125
side scan sonar as a post construction evaluation of the NCDOT Highway 70
Beaufort By-Pass project, which comprises the area of the former drawbridge
and the area of the new bridge as discussed previously in our scope of work.
After processing and analyzing the data, we mapped the soundings and
produced a report showing the targets encountered during the survey. Both
maps and target report follow attached by email. Please feel free to call with

All depths�elevations used in the Side scan sonar report were collected using a 12NS PosMV intergrated
inertial navigation system for positioning, heading and motion and a R2Sonic 2022 Multibeam echosounder
(MBES). Multibeam soundings represent a median of a one (1 ) ft. cell sorted to 20ft with no channel priority.
