Dear Sir or Madam:
On October 11, 2006, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated September
27, 2006, to fill or otherwise impact 0.09 acres of wetland, 60 linear feet of perennial stream, and 3,243
square feet of Zone 1Tar-Pamlico River basin protected riparian buffer and 2,090 square feet of Zone 2
Tar-Pamlico River basin protected riparian buffer to construct the proposed residential subdivision. The
DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as
discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to
impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five
copies the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your
application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we
receive this additional information. Please provide five copies of the following information so that we
may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
Please clearly delineate the wetland line and impact area on a 1"=30' scale site plan. The dashed
line which appears to be the wetland line on the 1"=30' scale map does not have the same
contours as the wetland impact area on the overall site plan.
2. Please indicate the location of the protected buffers as overlays on th site 1~. Please be sure to
break out the buffers as Zone 1 and Zone 2 clearly on the site plan.
3. Please provide cross details showing the provisions for aquatic life passage. =~-~~'
4. Please indicate the location of the grassed swale on your plan sheet. Please provide a worksheet
for the gr sed swale, and a signed and notarized Ions and Maintenanc_e/~.agl'eement. NS ~~ ~

Please contact the DWQ within three weeks of the date of this letter to verify that you have received this
letter and that you remain interested in continuing to pursue permitting of your project and will be
providing the DWQ the requested information at a later date. Please contact me in writing and Kyle
Barnes of the DWQ Washington Regional Office. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we will
assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn.
This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters
or protected buffers. Please be awaze that any impacts requested within your application are not
