SEWER NARRATIVE
LELAND COMMERCIAL
SEWER DESCRIPTION
The proposed Leland Commercial Project consists of 5 commercial outparcels and 123
townhome units. The project is located along HWY 17, south of Leland. This project will have
a sanitary sewer lift station that will be owned and maintained by Brunswick Regional Water &
Sewer. The total length of gravity pipe is 4,000 if of 8" C900 PVC & DIP. There will be 511 if
of 4" force main within the project site and 2,269 if of 8" forcemain within the right-of-way of
HWY 17. This line is upsized within the HVY 17 right-of-way to allow for additional flow in
the future per the request of Brunswick Regional Water & Sewer. The flow for each townhome
was assumed to be 210 gallon/unit and the flow for the commercial lots was assumed to be 880
gallons/acre.
