Okay gotcha. Funny thing is battery back-up has been a requirement per the MDCs from 2000.
Just take your time in the future and fully report all the facts please to avoid the back-n-forth or notices being sent.

The goal of the Fast Track sewer permit program is to issue a permit in no more than 30 business days from receipt of a complete application and if
no additional information has to be requested upon full review. Please use the Department's Permit Application Tracker to determine the official
application receipt date to allow you to estimate a date for issuance and find the reviewer's name. Once issued, the record stays on the site for 30
days.
For previously issued sewer permit info or to check on sewer certification receipt status, please use the Division's Sewer Extension Permit
Tracker. Using the Issue Date on top of the Engineer Certification Form is best way to ensure getting what you want especially for multi -version
permits; using today's date only gives .info on the latest permit version. Confirmation using this method will replace letters and emails; it is
recommended that confirmation be printed and/or saved.

Attached is the original SSO, which was submitted after 10/17. This is correct-.
Attached is the revised Notice of Discharge. The first one was incorrect.
To answer your question below;
The generator was supplying the electricity because of the hit & run damage to the electrical meter box. When the
generator issued an error code, the engine shut down, which then also shut down our scada system. At that time, the
scada required electricity to notify us.
As of 2/4/19, we have installed a new scada system, which has a battery back up, which would notify us of electricity or
generator failure.
Thanks), I

So why did SCADA fail to notify you that the power was down from the generator quitting on the 15th? Filed report
indicated it was damaged by Hurricane but no specifics given and original press release mentions it too, but looks like
updated press release doesn't mention issue with SCADA. When was new/updated press release distributed.?
Please take up to your 5 business days to provide an accurate report, as it's supposed to be your only opportunity to
justify the incident and why you shouldn't get a NOV or penalty. Also, if more time needed to file then simply ask.
Please advise

Dean,
Notice of Violation, Tracking Number NOV-2019-DV-0082, Required Written Response.
Please see revised Notice of Discharge. The previous notice was incorrect. The overflow occurred due to an indirect
cause from a "Hit & Run" incident to Duke Power supply meter box. A copy of the police report is also attached for.your
file.
The generator was completely checked by our Utility Dept Staff on Oct 8", which was the date Duke Energy advised us
of the electric power disconnect. Town staff checked all fluids including oil, fuel, antifreeze, and total operation. During
the evening of Oct 15", sometime between 5 pm to 5 am (the next morning), the generator shut down occurred due to
a computer fault, the low oil sensor was set on which deactivated the engine. We immediately checked the oil level and
it was exactly where it should be. We reset the computer and cleared the fault and the generator started again. We
contacted our generator repair specialist to diagnose any problem, but none was detected and to this date, we have not
had any further issues. Just a note, Dukes power supply was deactivated approx. 2 weeks due to a total replacement to
their underground wire installation to this site, which restored electric service.
Please let me know if you need any additional details.
