On the stream impact table in the PCN there are a total of 958 feet of stream impacts divided into 4 different impact types and I want verify that I correctly understand what the impacts are: 245' of permanent impact is filling in a portion of the existing stream channel Correct 112' of temporary impact is restoration activity in existing channel (prior to start of new, constructed stream channel) Correct 576' feet of permanent "indirect" impact is the one I am not completely sure about. Is this the existing channel from the end of the 245' feet listed above to the new confluence with the restored stream? I assume the indirect impact is the rerouting of flow away from the channel? Yes. The indirect impacts are that it will no longer have perennial flow. We are anticipating that it will be an ephemeral feature as it will still receive flow from the tributary noted below. There is a possibility that the flow will be intermittent. • 25' for greenway culvert Correct • There is a tributary shown on the east side of the property with a confluence with the existing channel being restored/move. Is this a subject stream, and if so, are the check dams shown on the plan drawings accounted for in the total impacts? This is not a subject stream. It is shown on the soil survey so it is a buffered stream but it is ephemeral.
