Item 7. The amount of impact below the normal pool level (1200') will be 3'x2S0 for a total of 7S0 sgft. This will be riprap. Item 8a. The amount of impact above the normal pool level will be 7'x250 for a total of 1750 sgft. The riprap will only go up to elevation 1202. (S00 sgft) The remaining disturbed area will be shaped up (due to overhanging dirt from erosion} and mulched. (1250 sgft) All trees that are disturbed or damaged will be replaced. We will replace inch for inch the trees that are damaged. Item 8b. The land above the pool level (where I am proposing stabilization) is eroded from wave action. It is undermined and the red mud is very visible. This will continue to erode without same stabilization. Now, the eroded area is approx. 10' high above the water. Lot S has approximately 1000 feet of shoreline. I am only trying to stabilize the area that is eroding severely. (approx. 250 ft) The trees that have fallen and are in the water, and are in the way of the dock, will be moved closer to lot 6, in order to help deter erosion where there will be no riprap. There are no large, live trees that will be impacted. Most are 1" to 2". As shown on the pictures, most are leaning into the lake naw and will eventually fall in with more erosion. I will enclose pictures of the site from the water and a drawing of the proposed area to be stabilized.
