The Reserve at St. James Plantation

Dear Mr. Masters:
On January 17, 2008 a 401 Water Quality Certification (Certification No. 3722) was issued for
1.51 acres of wetland impact associated with the above referenced project. On August 4, 2008
a modification was issued to Certification No. 3722 to increase the authorized wetland impacts
to 1.56 acres.
On December 21, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received a modification
request from your consultant, Land Management Group to extend the time of the approval, as
the Individual Permit expired December 31, 2018. The requested time extension was for the
purposed of completing the authorized impacts due to the large size of the development. No
changes to the site plan or pervious authorization were proposed. For reference, the impacts
that have been completed to date are outlined in the attached table provided by your
consultant ("Road Crossing Status Summary 12-20-18").
By copy of this letter, Water Quality Certificate 3722 is hereby extended until December 31,
2021 or the expiration date of the corresponding 404 Approval.
All other conditions in the August 4, 2008 401 Water Quality Certification No. 3722 remain
unchanged and are in effect. This completes the review of the Division under section 401 of the
North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality I Division of Water Resources
