The pump station will serve western portions of Brunswick Forest and various future tracts to the south and west along the US-17 corridor a spreadsheet breakdown of the estimated flows is attached. This pump station will tie into a combination a dual 16"/10" force main which was just recently extended from the newly constructed pump Leland Pump Station #10. The ultimate design pumping rate for the pump station is 3100 GPM and the corresponding average daily flow of the pump station is 1.8 MGD. Flows from the pump station will be pumped into a proposed 16" force main that will tie into an- existing 16" and 10" force main on the southeastern row of US-17. The pump station will be designed in two phases. For the initial phase, 2 60HP NP3202 HT 460 pumps will be installed to reach to reach the desired flow of 1550 GPM. Note well, for the initial phase, the wet well, panels, joists, rails, and all other appurtenances shall be sized to accommodate the larger pumps used in the next and final stage. Once the receiving flows start to average over 620 GPM, phase 2 should be initiated. For phase 2 the pump station will operate as a triplex station. 3 160HP NP3315 HT 458 Pumps shall be installed to reach the desired pumping rate of 3100 GPM. Work involved in converting to phase 2 shall be minimal due to the sizing everything to 'accommodate the final stage initially. Please see the attached drawing, an overview of the proposed pump station and force main. 1123 Floral Parkway Wilmington, N.C. 28403 Phone (910) 343-8002 Fax 910) 343-9941 Business Firm License No. C-0597 Hanover Design Services, P.A.
