Please accept two copies of the 2018 annual documentation submittal required for stormwater permit
compliance for the Brickhaven Mine No. 2 Tract "A" (Brickhaven) site in Chatham County, North
Carolina, governed by NPDES Permit No. NCG020354.
Included with this submittal you will find the annual DMR report form for the analytical data. Outfalls for
Sediment Basins 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 were sampled during the first and second semiannual monitoring
periods. Due to site conditions and accessibility during qualifying rain events, the outfalls were sampled
on different dates rather than all at one time. Analytical reports from each sampling event have also
been included in this submittal package.
No constituents were detected above their respective benchmark levels during the first or second
semiannual monitoring periods of 2018 for any of the sediment basin outfalls.
Based on the analytical results received from the first and second semiannual monitoring periods of
2018, Brickhaven will continue with a semiannual monitoring frequency for all sediment basin outfalls.
