We are in receipt of the above -mentioned Notice of Violation regarding the failure to collect and analyze
Total Copper, Total Hardness, Total Zinc, Ph, and Ammonia in the month of November 2018.
CWSNC mailed an explanation letter along with November 2018 E-DMR for the above referenced
permit. To date we have not received a final copy of the NPDES permit for the above referenced facility.
We would appreciate a final copy of the permit mailed to us immediately. We did however receive
correction pages from a draft review for the above referenced permit on November 26, 2018.
Since we did not receive this correction until November 261h, of 2018 and we still have not received a
final permit it was impossible for us to comply with the requirements set forth in the permit for
November. The correction pages were dated November 6th, 2018 and were not received by CWSNC until
the 26m of November. I am enclosing a copy of the correction pages for your review.
I have been in contact with Mr. Wes Bell with your office about the timing that we received the
correction pages. Along with Contacting Mr. Wes Bell, I also sent Joe Corporn and John Hennessy an e-

mail on December 13, 2018 to please get in contact with me, so we could discuss the next steps. I have
not received a response from either of these gentlemen. I again sent another email on January 8, 2019
and still have not received a response.
The staff of Carolina Water Services of North Carolina takes great pride in the environmental
stewardship of our facilities. We respectfully ask that this Notice of Violation be rescinded due to the
circumstances.
