On behalf of NCDOT Division 3 Division Design Construct Engineer Krista Kimmel, PE, I
am sending you the Start of Study packet for STIP project R-5885, which involves the
construction of a superstreet/superstreet intersection along the NC 24 corridor from
Belgrade-Swansboro Road (SR 1434) to Front Street before the bridge, in Swansboro,
Onslow County, North Carolina.
Please refer to the attachment for the Start of Study letter and fact sheet, Vicinity Map,
Study Area Map, Topo Map and Environmental Features Map. No response to this
notification is required; however, we welcome your input if you have any specific or
time-critical concerns that the Department should be aware of. If you have any issues
opening the attachments, please let me know!
