The City of Gastonia's Two Rivers Utilities has cleaned up a sewer spiNovertbw, which occur.
red Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at 7:00 pm and the overflow ceased to spill on Thursday.
January 31 st at 1:00 am near 4712 Maplecrest Drive, Gastonia. The overflow occurred due to a
pipe failure which has been repaired. Approx(mately 36,000 gallons was discharged. some of
which flowed into a tributary to Catawba Creek in the Catawba River Basin. This spill has been
,.leaned up ana reported to the N.C. Dl�rision of Water resources.
