serve a 360-unit mixed -use development located at the intersection of Military Cutoff and Station Road in New Hanover
County. There will be 1801-bedroom units, 180 2-bedroom units and three commercial buildings at the site. The new
mains will connect to an existing CFPUA manhole located on the west side of Military Cutoff. The public 10" main will be
installed by the developer and owned and maintained by CFPUA. The private 8" main will be installed by the developer
and owned and maintained by the developer. Enclosed please find:

The 10" sewer main listed inthe permit application for Arboretum West is for anew alignment ofanexisting CFPUA 10"
main running through the Arboretum West project area. Anew cut inman hole will be set inthe ROW of Station Road
for connection to the existing main and the new alignment of the 10"sewer will be within the ROW of Station Road then
entering an utility Easement until it reaches the ROW for Military Cutoff where the alignment will turn North and run
parallel with the Military Cutoff ROW. The discharge connection point isanexisting W4Hlocated inMilitary Cutoff. The
existing lO"main will stay active while the new main isbeing installed. Once the installation ofthe new lO"isLothe
first downstream MH from the connection point on Station Road, bypass pumping will be required to install the last run
