2018 Reporting Year
Status of major program elements:
A. Industrial User Permits:
i. Macon County Landfill (IUP #0002) will expire July 31, 2021.
B. Program Elements:
i. Headworks Analysis is due for renewal on April 1, 2021.
ii. Short Term Monitoring Plan was approved October 20, 2016. STMP sampling will be
performed in 2020.
iii. Industrial Waste Survey was approved August 4, 2014 and is due for renewal April 1,
2019.
iv. Sewer Use Ordinance was approved January 2, 2013.
v. Enforcement Response Plan was approved January 4, 2006.
C. Franklin adopted a Mercury Minimization Plan in 2015. A copy can be provided to PERCS
upon request.
D. Franklin has reviewed the Pretreatment Program Info Database printout from December 12,
2018 (attached). No updates are required.
II. SIU Information
Macon County Landfill is the sole permitted industrial user of the WWTP.
A. SIUs in Significant Noncompliance (SNC)
No SIUs were in SNC during the period of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
B. Orders or Schedule Information
No SIU was under Administrative Order, Consent Order, or Enforced Compliance Schedule
during the period of January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018.
C. Pretreatment Authorization to Construct
No SIU requested an Authorization to Construct during the period of January 1, 2018
through December 31, 2018.
D. SIUs with Missing Data
No SIU was missing required compliance data during the period January 1, 2018 through
December 31, 2018.
E. SIU Inspection
Macon County Landfill was inspected on October 25, 2018. No compliance issues were
observed during the inspection.
