Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns. On October 12, 2018, the Division of Water Resources (Division) received your application dated October 12, 2018, requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for the subject project. The required fee was received on October 24, 2018. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on hold until all of the following items are addressed: 1. Please update the erosion control plan to include stabilization measures to protect the Catawba Buffer and Lake James for the construction of the scour hole and vegetated swale. Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the application. Please provide a response by December 21, 2018. The EC plan is preliminary, and from looking at it near the lake area, needs some revisions, such as additional silt fence, coir fiber matting for immediate stabilization following construction, and orange safety fence along the 50 -foot buffer contour, as well as, disturbance limits paralleling the area associated with end bent construction.
