A portion of the proposed construction site will go on to an easement owned by the Town of Cary. They have approved of this project and our work in their easement in the letter attached below. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you, On Tue, Feb 12, 2019 at 3:28 PM Goss, Stephanie <steohanie.¢oss(ancdenr.eov> wrote: Kyle, Thank you for the clarification in writing. I have one last question: I noticed the application states the restoration is on Whittington Park HOA property and Town of Cary as well. Is the Town of Cary involved in the restoration project and/or given approval? I did not see an agent authorization form for the Town of Cary in the application. Can you please clarify the Town of Cary's role etc. Thanks! Stephanie Z. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to rel? ort SPr nczo_v _-- Good Morning Stephanie, The electronically submitted PCN showed the stream impacts having an average top width of 20 feet and the impact length being 175 linear feet. The listed buffer impacts for zone 1 was 3,335 square feet and for zone 2 was 2,708 square feet. Both buffer zone impacts are temporary. I have checked and confirmed these are correct and match the plans. After the findings stated in the previous email I fell confident that we will be compliant for the use of the NWP 27. We are still waiting for James to formally reply to the previous email. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. We recently went out to the stream restoration site to determine the wetland boundary on the existing floodplain. We took multiple soil borings in the previously shown wetland area. These soil borings showed very little to no signs of hydric features typically found in wetland soils. In addition to the lack of wetland soils we did not see any obligate wetland plants growing in the under story of the tree's located on the floodplain. The trees surveyed on the floodplain also are not obligate wetland species. I have attached photos of the soil borings and the floodplain area for your review. I have also attempted to fill out the soil section of the wetland data sheet for Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plain Region. This wetland data sheet is also attached below. If after review of these items it is determined that more info will be needed I would be happy to set up a time for a site visit for us to all look at the area together. I have also edited the original plans to reflect these findings. The stream impact length and buffer zone impact areas have been been enumerated on the site plan in both the plan call outs and notes. The wetland boundary shown on the original plans has been removed to show the lack of wetlands found on the site. The updated impacts map plan sheet is attached below. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the updated map. Would my next step be to fill out a new PCN form or is there a way to edit the existing PCN form to reflect the changes found in the additional site investigation?
