RE: JD Request for SR 1217 Bunker Hill Road in Camden County
After conducting a site visit on January 25, 2019, DCM has determined the proposed work related to this specific pipe
replacement on SR 1217 (Bunker Hill Rd.) in Camden County is CAMA non-jurisdictional at the Culvert Crossing or
within 75' of the crossing and therefore will not require a CAMA permit from the N.C. Division of Coastal
Management.

G reg,
We have a pipe failure on Bunker Hill Road in Camden County, and need to replace the pipes fairly soon. It may be in
DCM's jurisdiction due to the proximity to Joyce Creek. Please evaluate this site at your earliest convenience to
determine if we need to apply for a CAMA permit for the pipe replacement. Maps are attached.
Thanks,
Paul C. Williams, Jr.
