The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the ManteoWWTP on
1/29/2019. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the
conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0079057. The findings and comments
noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled
"Compliance Inspection Report". j
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

The Facility was built in 1992 and has been well maintained Stewart White, Sarah Toppen,and Robert
Tankard from the Washington Regional Office along with Emily Phillips from Raleigh Central Office
met with ORC Josh O'Brien,Back-up ORC Victor Quick and Walter Liverman operator.The Inspection
went very well and the final Effluent looks very good The WWTP was clean and well operated. See
questions attached for details
Atlantic Sewage Control was hauling sludge Arabic Digester was almost empty
Environmental Chemists, Inc Leases the Lab from the Town of Manteo at this facility.
Permit#NC0079057 was found to be compliant.
