Description of System: Activated Sludge
Performance: System listed above performed as designed and had no deficiencies for
January 2018 to date.
Permit Limit Violations: Two. Due to heavy rain from hurricane Florence the North
Wilkesboro Wastewater Plant was out of compliance for weekly average for fecal the
week of 09-17-18. Also due to the rain we did not meet the 85%removal for TSS on 09-
17-18.
Monitoring and Reporting Violations:None (January 2018 to date)
(Illegal)By-pass of Treatment Facilities:None(January 2018 to date)
Sanitary Sewer Overflows: One over 1000 gallons/None that reached surface water.
On 10-11-18,Due to hurricane Michael.
Environmental Impacts:No known environmental impacts.
Description of Correction Measures: (No need for correction measures from January
2018 to date.
Notifications: Copy of this report will be on display for all users/customers at the North
Wilkesboro Town Hall for a period of 30 days. Also there will be a copy on file at the
North Wilkesboro Wastewater Plant located at 100 Thurman Street.
