Lumberton Cellulose LLC owns and operates a cellulose manufacturing mill (the
Lumberton Mill) in Lumberton, Robeson County, North Carolina.
This letter is a follow-up to a couple conversations between our Mill
t=nvironmental Manager, Grant Oxendine and with Mr. Michael Lawyer, with the
NCDEQ Fayetteville Regional Office regarding our current Storm -water permit
rJassification and renewal status. Based upon our current operations and
potential storm water exposures, we are requesting that our current Individual
r Onr—iit !Klr, N!rrznM?.7Q1 be resrir dledl and that the I�! M he Co pred
CAI —under the State's General Storm -water Permit. This opportunity to change from
an Individual to a general permit was discussed with Mr. Lawyer during his recent
compliance inspection conducted on July 12, 2018.
As a result, we are submitting the following required items as part of this permit
::change.
i.. A completed permit application along with a Site location map.
2. A check in the amount of $100.00 to cover the permit renewal fees.
