SUMMARY OF HISTORIC ARCHICTECTURE AND LANDSCAPES REVIEW
Description of review activities, results, and conclusions:
Review of HPO quad maps, relevant background reports, historic designations roster, and indexes was
undertaken on June 5, 2014. Based on this review there are no NR, DE, LL, SL, or SS in the project area.
According to the Watauga County GIS website there is one property adjacent to the APE of the bridge
project. The conshuction date for the single-family dwellings is 1974. There are no properties in APE of
this project that are eligible for National Register listing.
Why the available infot•mation provirles a reliable basis for reasonablv vredictin� thut there
are no unidenti�ed siQnircant historic architectural or landscape resources in the project
area:
Using HPO GIS website and Watauga County GIS website provides reliable information regarding the
stiuctures in the APE. These combined utilities are considered valid for the puiposes of determining the
likelihood of historic resources being present.
