The proposed pump station location is on the eastern side of Middle Creek, approximately 6,500 feet south- southeast of the Town of Apex Water Reclamation Facility. The initial design flowrate for the duplex pump station is 1,210 gallons per minute, although the station has been designed with expansion capabilities (by impeller changes and by the addition of a third pump in the future). The force main is proposed to be 16-inch diameter C905 PVC pipe, with two directional drilled segments of 16-inch HDPE pipe. The force main length is approximately 8,445 LF, and it will discharge into an influent sewer main at the treatment plant. Raleigh Regional Office — Water Quality December 19, 2018 Page 2 of 2 The attached application is submitted with a zero flow projection, as all tributary flows to the pump station will be accounted for through the permitting process for the gravity sewer extensions. The station and force main have been designed in compliance with 15A NCAC 2T rules, and the Division's Minimum Design Criteria for Pump Stations and Force Mains.
