Alaina,
I went and did an inspection at Oak Valley – Pilot Mountain in Surry county today. It is in the comment period currently
for permit NCG210464. I have no comments to prevent them from receiving the applied for permit. When on site I
noticed a second outfall however this outfall does not contain any stormwater from industrial activity, stormwater
comes from parking and the office. In the report sent to Oak Valley (attached) I mentioned that should industrial activity
be relocated to that section of the property they would have to sample that outfall along with the one they plan on
sampling. I don’t believe that will be an issue but just in case anything changes in the future, it was noted in the
report. Let me know if you have any questions.
Also, do I need to be sending yall a copy of every inspection report? I keep a copy on file here but I noticed some of the
older reports from before I was here had central files cc’d on the reports.
Thanks,
