Dear Mr. McMannis:
The Stormwater Permitting Unit received a request for a plan revision for Stormwater Management Permit Number
SW3140202 on May 12, 2015. I have reviewed and the proposed digital copies of the revisions that includes minor
changes to the greenway alignment and location and minor buffer disturbances. The request for the revisions and
buffer disturbances is approved. A formal permit modification is not required for the proposed revisions but we are
requesting that you submit the 2 sets of the revised as-built plans for our files. We will forward you an approved
copy of the revised as-built plans for your files.
Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit remain in full force and effect. Please also understand
that the approval of this revision to the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case-by-
case basis. Any other changes to this project must be submitted to and approved through the permitting
authority. The issuance of plan revision does not preclude the permittee from complying with all other applicable
statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may have jurisdiction over the proposed activity.
This project will be kept on file at the Mooresville Regional Office. If you have any questions, or need additional
information concerning this matter, please contact me.

Thanks for getting back with me. The greenway alignment and location have changed from the last set of plans you
reviewed and approved. Below is a link to the latest plans showing the greenway, as well as the new public sewer
connection within the 200’ buffer near the SE corner of the property. Could you please confirm if the process you
describe below is still applicable, or let us know if we need to submit plans and a different application? Thanks again.

I left you a voicemail regarding the Amber Meadow subdivision in Marvin, NC, and the buffer disturbance resulting from
greenway construction and installation of a new public sewer main line. I spoke with Alan Johnson, and he said
everything looked good to him, but that because the buffer is triggered by stormwater rules this needs to go through
you as opposed to his unit. Could you please confirm if this is the case? If so, will you need 2 sets of plans? Also, I assume
you will need a copy of the PCN we sent Alan- please let me know if there are any other materials you require. Thanks

Last thing, since this is NOT the goose creek (even though it adheres to the buffer requirements per the “state”
stormwater program ((not the 401 program))), this is actually reviewed approved by them. I just happen to be very
familiar with the buffer requirements. Based on the info provided, you should be good. I am going to pass this off to the
Land Quality person that reviews the sediment/erosion control plan

I received an application for buffer impacts. A couple of questions for clarification and information is required:
1) A copy of the subdivision showing the greenway and its relative location in the buffer and to the creek. It
should be at least 50 ft from top of bank. (14 ft wide X 1,810 ft long)
2) Please provide a topo map and vicinity map for the site.
3) A diagram of the sewer line/manhole proposed for construction within the buffer ( width and length?). This
should meet the guidelines established in the table of uses. Is the sewer line crossing a stream? You mention
riprap. What is the purpose of the rip rap?

4) Sediment erosion control measure may require more stringent measures due to location within the Six Mile
Creek Watershed.
5) Please overlay the delineated streams for the current and future phase with the subdivision layout.
6) Finally, Mr. Cisco Garcia signed the application, but he is not shown on the application.
