Box 545 Ramseur, NC 27261 SUBJECT: Compliance Evaluation Inspection Ramseur WTP Certificate of Coverage NCG590019 Randolph County Dear Mr. Shaw: On January 10, 2019, Jenny Graznak and Kelli Park of this office, met with Mark Grose, Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC), to perform a Compliance Evaluation Inspection at the Ramseur Water Treatment Plant. This type of inspection consists of two basic parts: an in-office file review and an on- site inspection of the treatment facility. The attached EPA inspection form details the areas that were evaluated during this inspection.A few pertinent findings and issues from the inspection are described in the inspection summary. However,there were a few paperwork issues discovered during the inspection. Please note them as follows: (1)The Town transports liquid sludge to the Ramseur\MNTP for surface disposal,in the sludge lagoon. In future, DEQ requests that the facility have verification of gallons transported in the form or ' receipts from Overby's Septic Hauling Company. ` (2) Some paper copies of DMRs were missing during the inspectors'file review. Please make sure that analytical lab results and DMRs are available for review during inspections.
