After discussions with all of the permitting agencies and the delays anticipated in obtaining Dam Safety approval for the
breach, the owner would like to proceed with dewatering the pond as the first phase of the project to allow as much of
the existing pond to stabilize with vegetation as possible prior to the breach being made. Therefore we are currently
working on a revised set of plans to show only the dewatering operations. We would like to withdraw the current PCN
application DWR#18-1478. We will be re -submitting the application in the near future to reflect only this first phase.
In the future prior to the breach we will be submitting another PCN that will include the impacts for the breach work as
the second phase of the project. The dewatered pond area will be re-evaluated at that time to determine the conditions
after dewatering and impacts as a part of the phase II submittal.
