Dear Sir or Madam: I represent Mr. Saif Alsaidi relative to your above referenced notice. The following is the response that you requested: A. The owners and operators of the store do not know how much was discharged because they did not spill the gas nor the oil at the store. Mr. Alsaidi believes that the liquid was spilled in the middle of the night when the store was not open. They do not know where the spill came from. B. Mr. Alsaidi hired Eastern Environmental Management to clean up the spill. They charged $3,800.00 which was paid by Mr. Alsaidi. Eastern Environmental Management cleaned up the entire spill. Enclosed is the Non-Hazardous Waste Manifest receipt that they received from the company. Please feel free to contact them directly for any additional information. C. A Shaun Patrick and Doug Mustian from the North Carolina State Water Quality tested the water quality as far as we know. Mr. Mustian's telephone number is (919)554-2303. Mr. Alsaidi has informed his staff to watch for anyone dumping anything on the property.
