RE: Saif Alsaidi
NOV-2018-DV-0321
BP Station- 101 Lewis Street, Oxford, Granville County,N.C.
Dear Sir or Madam:
I represent Mr. Saif Alsaidi relative to your above referenced notice. The following is the
response that you requested:
A. The owners and operators of the store do not know how much was discharged
because they did not spill the gas nor the oil at the store. Mr. Alsaidi believes that
the liquid was spilled in the middle of the night when the store was not open. They
do not know where the spill came from.
B. Mr. Alsaidi hired Eastern Environmental Management to clean up the spill. They
charged $3,800.00 which was paid by Mr. Alsaidi. Eastern Environmental
Management cleaned up the entire spill. Enclosed is the Non-Hazardous Waste
Manifest receipt that they received from the company. Please feel free to contact
them directly for any additional information.
C. A Shaun Patrick and Doug Mustian from the North Carolina State Water Quality
tested the water quality as far as we know. Mr. Mustian's telephone number is
(919)554-2303. I have attempted to contact him,but I have not received a response
John M. Dunlow 'i A. Chance Wilkinson
as of the date of this letter.
Mr. Alsaidi has informed his staff to watch for anyone dumping anything on the property.
Also,we requested that the police patrol the area at night and to watch for anyone spilling anything
on the property.
If you need any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
A. Chance Wilkinson
