Check out the attached proposed revision and my short explanation below of what's going on. Will this change require a revision to your General Certification? If it would not trigger a certification revision then the refinement should work. If it does then will need to modify. This change came about because a local ordinance prohibits two docks on a property.... Long story short, contractor goes to get building permit and mentions they are not doing the roof over the lift right now (possibly not at all). This completely changes how the Town looks at the basin docks since there isn't a roof. With roof, the docks are considered part of the boathouse, no roof equals separate docks and they have to choose one or the other. Slide the docks together, Town is good and considers them one single dock. Ron Renaldi Field Representative NC Division of Coastal Management NC Department of Environmental Quality Ronald. Considering the shape of the footprint was to accommodate the 2nd dock. The revised drawing does not show the northern section of the footprint. What they are proposing is to slide the 32' dock from the north side of the property to the south side connecting it to the authorized dock at the basin for one continuous one. It will remain 32'x4', but it will instead only be 2' over the water instead of the authorized 4'. Are you all right with this being a refinement since it is a reduction of shading and a 15' waiver is not required?
