The site is currently a roadway through a single-family residential area. Land use in the surrounding vicinity is primarily residential, partially-wooded lots. A school and fire station, as
well as a wooded riparian corridor along Buck Branch are also in the project vicinity.

The project is a road crossing improvement. The culvert under Vandora Springs Rd. is currently under-sized, and the road overtops during storm events. Additional drainage, induding
an auxliary 36" pipe undemeath Vandora Springs Rd. is proposed to alleviate this problem.
4i. Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:*
Type of work will include grading, paving, curb and gutter, and installation of drainage and placement of pipes. It is anticipated that equipment typical of earth moving, excavation, and
roadway repair and construction will be utilized.

Stream impacts have been avoided. Project design was modified to pull back riprap pads at pipe outlets away from the top of bank of the stream
channel.

Work will take place along existing Vandora Springs road. Equipment will enter and leave along the roadway. Clearing is restricted to only those areas
necessary for proposed improvements.
