Describe the overall project in detail, including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:* The existing property is open fields and woodland. Subdivision streets are the main earth moving construction on the project. The streets are planned to avoid all wetlands and have just one stream crossing impact. Track hoes, bulldozers and motor graders will bee the main equipment used. A sediment and erosion control and storm water plan must be approved by Wake County before construction can begin. 4j. Impact Justification and Mitigation v 1. Avoidance and Minimization 1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project: Over 2500 linear feet of streets are planned, all wetlands will be avoided and only 1 stream crossing is planned. The street crossing the stream is planned as perpendicular as possible. 2 sewer stream crossings are planned; one sewer crossing will be aerial and the other stream crossing Will be aerial. Both of the sewer stream crossings are planned to minimize impact. Flead walls are also planned on the crossing to reduce earth fill impact. 1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: Tree clearing for the stream crossing will be minimal as practical. Care will be taken not to install crossing in high flow days are when immanent precipitation is forecast. Sediment and erosion control measures will be installed according to the approved sediment and erosion control plan and will be inspected by Wake County. 2.
