Good talking with you today about the Panther Creek / Mills Park project. Since
this original email the contractor has stepped up the efforts to eliminate
sediment lose on project. The day after this email, crews used 5 gallon buckets
to remove all sediment that ran off project. All silt fencing has been cleaned,
reinforced in impacted areas and J hooks installed per plan. I am pleased with
the timeliness and response to the concern by the contractor. We are still
waiting for a time schedule for the sediment basins to be installed. Attached are
photos from the site today.

For your files, attached is the letter and backup information sent to Narron
Contracting certified mail.

Mr. Zimmerman,
Per our permit for Panther Creek Greenway TIP C-56041A, I am within the 24
hours to report violations. We had some sediment comprising the silt fence on
south side of project. We are sending a letter to the contractor to stop all
operations until we have corrective action. Attached are photos.
The sediment basin has not been installed at this time and feel that would have
prevented this situation.
SEPI was hired by the Town of Cary for inspection services for this project.
