I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, I've just now gotten the opportunity to cursorily look at the plan that you
sent me, and a possible location for the pool might be to move the pool to the right of the existing screened porch,
where there is a brick walk that could be removed. The zones of the riparian buffer aren't shown in sufficient detail on
the plan, nor is the scale something I could use to easily reproduce where the buffer should be, but from my rough guess
looking at the plans, it looks like there might be some possibility to put the pool where the walk is shown (or,
alternatively, on the other side of the screened porch, where there's currently a brick patio shown on the plans). Even if
it requires a small reduction in the size of the pool, this would keep the pool outside of the riparian buffer. With the
previous permit having expired, alternatives/avoidance and minimization is part of how we'd be reviewing any new
request for a variance from the rules, as pools are prohibited activities within the buffer (and also really were prohibited
at the time the previous permit was issued).

See attached new plot plan and survey with proposed pool location and old approval letter. Any help you
could assist us to make this work and under appliance would be greatly appreciated! These homeowners really
want a pool and bought this property based on the assumption of this letter saying that they could do it, I know
that is not your fault but any help to make this work would be great!!
