If need anything else, just bug me -G 1. Who are the speakers you have lined up so far? A host of state, local elected officials have committed. Exec dir of Cape Fear Public Utility Authority and chairman of CFPUA board are coming. Biologist Larry Cahoon of UNCW, couple other UNCW academics New Hanover Health Director Phil Tarte Couple environmental lawyers Head of Wilmington Chamber Chemours is still thinking about attending. Haven't heard anything definite back from EPA DHHS looks like they'll send someone. 2. Will the presentations be individual 10 minute presentations and then folks will participate in the panel discussion, or will the presentations be part of the panel? Here's the rough outline: Date: Wednesday, June 28 Time: 7 p.m. Location: Kenan Auditorium, UNCW WWAY will stream the meeting WHQR will broadcast the forum live on WHQR News 91.3 FM. Presented by: StarNews, WWAY and WHQR i DEQ-CFW 00074505 Moderators: Si Cantwell, StarNews; Amanda Fitzpatrick, WWAY; Vince Winkel, WHQR Moderator intro, explains Q&A process -- 5 minutes One speaker on what's being done -- 10 minutes One speaker on human impacts -- 10 minutes One speaker on legal and moral issues -- 10 minutes One speaker on economic impacts -- 10 minutes Moderator explains Q&A process -- 5 minutes Q&A -- 1 hour, 10 minutes Moderator finishes -- explains where to get information in future The bulk of the event will be a Q & A, so if don't speak in that first 10 mins, don't have to make an introductory statement. Basically, just there to answer questions, and will remain on stage the entire time. Questions will be collected ahead of time and read by the moderators. No interaction with audience until afterwards, l guess. 3> Could you send us your questions that will be directed at DEQ? Still unsure about that, since not sure how the questions are being handled once they are submitted. Will update when know more.
