Currently the Baghouse filter bags total 6,858 square feet of filter rea. To comply with a National Fire Protection Association standard (NFPA 68 Section 8.7), seventy six (76) of the filter bags closest to the aghouse's rupture panel must be shortened from 100 inches to 36 inches so as to not obstruct the rupture panel's pressure relief area. This will mult in a reduction of filter area from 6,858 square feet to 6,245 square feet. The flow rate though the Baghouse will remain 45,000 ACFM.
