I left a voicernail for Jamie, but wanted to send an email as well. I'm working on a story regarding the letter
that CFPUA's attorneys sent to Secretary Regan on Friday:

1) Has DEQ responded to the statements in this letter? If so, what was the response?
2) Has the department's position changed since I last communicated with you about it? Specifically, are you
standing by the responses Jamie Kritzer sent on June 20? Is DEQ still contending that it was informed of the
discharge of GenX and the "novel" substances mentioned in Sun, et al., in all of Dupont's and Cherriours'
NPDES permit applications?
3 3) If your position has changed, please help me understand what it is and why it has changed.
Ideally, I'd like to speak with Secretary Regan or get a statement that can be attributed to him regarding this.
