Have these substances been listed on Chemours' permits prior to this renewal application? Are Chemours' permits part of DEQ!s GenX investigation? On the company's most recent application (which expired last year), Chemours was authorized to discharge PFOA from Outfall 002, and was required to take samples monthly. There might be a simple answer to this, but my understanding is DuPont, which formed Chemours, agreed to phase out PFOA in 2005, so wondering why they are still permitted to discharge it? on Assignment Manager WECT News Office: 910.386.5477 Cell: 910.899.6035
