The monitoring reports for the past 4-5 years are housed in central files in the Archdale basement. Do you want me to
respond to Adam?

Subject: Follow up
Hi Jamie,
Following up on my voicemail from a few minutes ago, I'm looking into a few things and am wondering if you
can help out or pass this along to someone who may be able to.
1) We're hearing some DEQ officials from the Fayetteville office are visiting Chernours' Fayetteville Works
facility tomorrow. Is this accurate? And if so, what is the purpose of the visit (is it part of the permitting process
or is there a separate goal)?
2) Following up on my request from Sunday, what would be the best way to access discharge monitoring
reports for the Fayetteville Works? If it's a file review, I'd be willing to head to Fayetteville and do that. If a
records request is easier, please consider my prior correspondence as such, but please let me know.
3) I'm working on a story about H.B. 374. Has DEQ taken any stance on the environmental permitting
provisions written into that legislation?
I know you guys are swamped right now between GenX and the end of budget season, so thank you for taking
the time,
Adam
