.1 am writing to request information related to the following chemicals manufactured by
DuPont and or Chernours Corporations: (I) C8 (Perfluorooctalloic acid or PFOA); (2) GenX
(C'F3CF--)CF20CF(CI -))COOH,NH-'I )-,, and (3) PFOS (Perfluorooctaiiesulf'onic acid).
The specific information I am requesting is any and all information concerning the above
chemicals related in any way to the following:
(1) testing related to presence/levels of the chemicals in the Cape Fear River
between 2000 and the present clay;
(2) toxicology studies/information;
(3) epidemiological studies/i.n.forination-,
(4) permits given to DuPont/Chemours related to release of the chemicals in
wastewater;
fines !levied against DuPont/Chen1OUrS;
(6) environmental irripact studies./m.formation; and
(7) a list of all chemicals, triclUdiria but not limited to the three above, being
discharged into the Cape Fear River by DuPont/Chemours at the
Fayetteville Works Plant in Bladeri County, NC.
I would like copies of any and all documents in NC DEQs possession germane to the
request above. I would prefer to receive these docunients"materials electronically, but will gladly
accept hard copies if that is all that is available. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate
