Subject: U-2579B Hydraulic fluid spill
Yesterday afternoon a hydraulic spill occurred on the U-2579B project adjacent to permit site 8. The fluid spilled within
100' of the stream. The material was contained in the basin and did not reach the stream. Shamrock Environmental
was on site yesterday evening and performed a cleanup of the contaminated soil and fluid. The NPDES records will be
updated to reflect the loss and cleanup response. If you need any more information, let me know.
