This is to acknowledge that we have received your Proficiency Testing (PT) results from ERA WP-
230. Congratulations on obtaining acceptable results. This completes all proficiency testing
requirements for your North Carolina Wastewater/Groundwater Laboratory Certification for
2014.
If additional proficiency testing results are submitted voluntarily during this proficiency testing
calendar year, they will be evaluated similarly and remedial PTs will be required for any results
graded unacceptable.
Your proficiency testing reports contained Method Descriptions that are not compatible with your
laboratory's current certificate attachment. Only one version of Standard Methods is approved.
The approved methods now reference by year rather than Edition. Revision and the reference
year should be included were applicable when reporting PT results. When a PT provider utilizes a
web -based submittal system, where the laboratory selects the analytical method from a pull -down
list, it may be necessary to edit the choices given. The following discrepancies were noted:
