Yes, They were in Tier III, but made some corrective actions and now have more than three consecutive samples that
were in compliance.

Subject: FW: Request to ARO for Monitoring Relief
Paul,
I see this letter went to Landon Davidson, who is the Regional Supervisor for DWR. It should have gone to Stan Aiken,
who is Regional Supervisor for DEMLR. The Stormwater Program moved out of the Division of Water Resources back in
2013 over to DEMLR, so I know that may have been confusing. This may be the reason for no response to date. I am
forwarding this facility's request for monthly monitoring relief to Stan Aiken at the ARO so his staff can address this
request. I am also copying Isaiah Reed, the ARO's primary contact for Stormwater.
In Tier 2, a facility can automatically resume semi-annual monitoring after three consecutive results below benchmark,
but I understand from this letter that the facility was in Tier 3 -- and hence the request to the RO for relief. Is that
correct?
Best regards,
Bethany Georgoulias

Ms. Georgoulias (Bethany,
Attached is the letter and supporting documentation that were sent by Morganton Pressure Vessels to be relieved from
monthly sampling due to corrective actions that resulted in three consecutive non-exceedances. Morganton Pressure
Vessels was expecting a response from the regional office as per the permit.
Please advise if further information or action is needed.
