Subject: Decrease stormwater Monitoring
General Permit No. COC NCG030616

Dear Mr. Davidson:
As required by general NPDES stormwater permit NCG030000, Section B, Tier Three
stormwater monitoring exceedance procedures, this is to notify the Department of Water
Quality that there have been no exceedances of the Benchmark range of the permit for
three consecutive sampling events at Outfall #1 as summarized below:

The following corrective action were implemented to achieve compliance with the permit
benchmark range:
• Increase outside housekeeping activities;
• Increase scheduled removal of scrap metal;
• Increase minimization of outside storage;
• Implement pollution prevention procedures for outside industrial activities;
• Shelter long-term outside storage from stormwater; and
• Modify the SPPP (BMP's) to reflect these corrective action

It is requested that the monthly sampling decrease to semi-annual for Outfall #1.
