Carteret County
Upon review of your request for Water Quality Certification
to place fill material in a wetland area adjacent to Hull Swamp,
we have determined that the proposed fill can be covered by
General Water Quality Certification No. 2176 issued November 4,
1987. 'A copy of the General Certification is attached. This
Certification may be used in qualifying for coverage under Corps
of Engineers' Nationwide Permit No. 26.

Dear Sirs :
My clients , Francis M. and Ruth G. Peters are purchasing Lot
23 , Section 1 , Brandywine Bay Subdivision, Morehead City , North
Carolina . I have enclosed a copy of the survey plat which shows
the square footage and general location of the subject property.
The amount of wetlands on the Lot have not been determined , but
the Lot is above the headwaters of Hull Swamp . It is my
information that all of Brandywine Bay located between Highway 70
and Highway 24 has been determined to be above the headwaters of
Hull Swamp :
My clients desire to construct a single-family residential
dwelling containing approximately 2, 000 square feet with a
garage , driveway and normal landscaping . The purpose of my
letter is to request a general certificate for fill above the
headwaters . I understand that your agency generally follow the
U. S. Army Corps of Engineers nationwide 26 perm " t .
