Striking the last sentence would probably be the best. Thanks for addressing that.
I understand the intended meaning of the original statement, but I just did not want anyone to be confused by it. We
have no Issue of Concern in the selection of the preferred, but there is a Issue of Concern for the overall project.
Although the coordination on the dwarf wedgemussel issue is going very well, it is still within the realm of possibility
that the USFWS could issue a Jeopary Biological Opinion.

As the draft summary states I was not able to attend the meeting. However, I do have one comment. The draft
summary states "If this coordination continues satisfactorily to USFWS, the agency does not foresee any Issues of
Concern with regard to the selection of DSA 2 as the Preferred Alternative." This statement, as written, could be
misunderstood by some people. The USFWS does have an issue of concern, as we previously stated multiple times,
with the overall project. The likely adverse effects on the dwarF wedgemussel are a serious concern. Since this
concern covers all the alternatives to one degree or another, the USFWS has not taken a position for or against any
particular alternative. In other words, we are not opposing the selection of DSA 2 as the Preferred Alternative, but our
serious concerns remain. Perhaps you could reword the statement to clarify or even just delete it.
