Subject: Request for Additional Information
Stormwater Permit No. SW6181003
Norris Farm
Harnett County
Dear Mr. Temple:
The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater
Management Permit Application for the subject project on October 18, 2018. A review of that
information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is
needed to continue the stormwater review:
1. The permanent swale details on Sheet S-2 show some of the side slopes as 2:1 (H:Z). The
low density regulations require that side slopes are no steeper than 3: 1.
2. Please add the design information for the roadside ditches to the low density supplement.
3. When calculating project density, any surface water area must be excluded from the
project area (see Page 3 — Project Information, field 7 of the SWU-101 Application
Form). The pond on the site must be accounted for in the calculation.
4. Provide pdfs of all revisions, 2 hardcopies of revised plan sheets, and 1 hardcopy of other
documents. Pdfs must be uploaded using the form at:
https:Hedocs.deq.nc.gov/Fonns/SW ProjectSubmittal
Please note that this request for additional information is in response to a preliminary review.
The requested information should be received by this office prior to November 30, 2018, or
