This will align with existing bulkheads on lots 316 and 319. William and Bio Report Page 2 Joan Elhoff SITE DESCRIPTION Lot 317 Brigands Bay, Dare County is owned by William and Joan Elhoff. Lot 318 Brigands Bay, Dare County is owned by W. C. Louden. The lots are currently not bulkheaded and characterized by a wide sandy beach and an upland yard vegetated by Hydrocotyle sp., Spartina patens, beach grass and lawn grasses. No coastal wetlands or non-tidal freshwater wetlands exist on the site. Lots 316 and 319 are currently bulkheaded and Mr. Elhoff and Mr. Louden propose to tie their bulkhead into the bulkhead on lot 316 (currently 17' waterward of NWL) and align with the bulkhead on lot 319. ANTICIPATED IMPACTS This project will result in the filling of 1200 sq. ft. of shallow water habitat. This area has no marsh or submerged aquatic vegetation and varies in depth from dry to 6 inches deep depending on the wind direction. CAMA REVIEW This project is consistent with the Dare County LUP.
